Discover the rich history of the Beverlo camp

Camp Beverlo Museum

Visit the museum

The museum is housed in a former military hospital dating back to 1850. It outlines the origins and evolution of the military camp and the municipality of Leopoldsburg. Through items such as scale models, documents, photographs, weapons, uniforms, and everyday objects, the museum provides a picture of life in the camp, the growth of the municipality, the two World Wars, the Cold War, and the post-war international operations of the armed forces. The collection is spread across four former hospital wards and a 175-meter-long connecting corridor. Be sure to also visit the four themed rooms.
